Boiler Services.

Boilers need an annual service to keep them safe and working efficiently. By having your boiler serviced annually our Engineer will know when parts are becoming defective or unreliable. We will carry out a complete safety check on the boiler, ventilation and flue.

Most services take approximately one hour, although Back Boilers take about 1.5 hrs. On completion we give our customers a completed and signed 'Service/Maintenance' Form.

Central Heating.

Whether you are looking to have a new replacement boiler or a brand new full installation we can provide both. Our estimates are prepared for you free of charge and we are happy to come to your home and discuss the options available and what suits your needs best.

As accredited installers of Worcester Bosch boilers our customers currently benefit from a free 5 year warranty. All work carried out by us is guaranteed for 12 months from date of completion and a Gas Safe Registration & Building Compliance Regulations Certificate will be issued by Gas Safe.

Landlords Gas Safety Records.

In 1996 the government passed a law that requires all landlords who rent part, or all of a property, to have all gas appliances and pipe work checked and certified, to prove that the gas appliances meet gas safety standards. every 12 months. This applies to all gas appliances used in the property.

What does a Landlord Gas Safety Inspection Include?

Charter Heating Services Ltd's Gas Engineer operating under the Gas Safe Register will check the following during a Landlord gas safety inspection:

• Check appliance for gas tightness.
• Check standing and working pressure if test points available.
• Check burner pressure / gas rate against manufacturer's data plate.
• Check for satisfactory provision of all necessary ventilation.
• Test flue flow to ensure removal of products of combustion.
• Check satisfactory operation of all the flame failure devices.
• Check for physical stability, presence and effectiveness of stability brackets (where appropriate).
• Investigate and evidence of unsafe operation and report to a responsible person.
• An appliance cannot be deemed as having been checked, until the above has been completed.

Once your property has passed the Gas Safety Certification, we will schedule a return to your property every 12 months to keep your gas safety certificate up to date.
